Indian electronica’s tour de force Nucleya combines forces with global EDM giants Major Lazer with vocalist Rashmeet Kaur to give you the grooviest dance number of the festive season.
Titled ‘Jadi Buti’, the song will surely get you dancing and offer you some respite from the lockdown blues. It celebrates the high of Mary Jane (please get the reference) and its influence on the lives of those who adhere to it. ‘Jadi Buti’ marks Major Lazer’s collaboration with Nucleya, one among several global compilations as part of their upcoming album, ‘Music is the Weapon’, which has dropped on music platforms across the world, this October.
Speaking about this collaboration, Nucleya comments, “I’m excited to see how people around the world are going to respond to the track. My hope is that even though they might not understand what is being sung instantly, the audience will see that sometimes it doesn’t matter and they’ll be receptive to this global sound.”
