Inspired from the prose of celebrated neurologist Victor E Frankl’s noteworthy literary account, ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’, funk/Jazz fusion band from the national capital, The Revisit Project’s latest single, ‘Locked Away’ featuring Vrnda Dhar finds semblance in the normalcy of a life restored, following a prolonged state of isolation, in the midst an ongoing pandemic.

Keeping the mood of the composition easy and tranquil, the smooth sax and effective bass kicks leave an outstanding impression upon the ears of the listener. The composition makes for effective listening on a mundane afternoon if the mood is demotivated.

Featuring vocalist Chetan Awasthi, bassist Karan Wadhwa, Kanu Gangahar on guitar, Varun Rajasekharan on percussions, drummer Aditya Bhagvatula and Abhay Sharma on saxophone, The Revisit Project released their first album, `Here We Go` in 2017 and followed it up with two back-to-back singles in 2019 with ‘Brown Man`s Funk’ and ‘Born in Delhi’.

‘Locked Away’ is now streaming on Radio City Freedom.
