Subhi renders a warm poetic ballad to love and longing in Aagosh

Pop singer Subhi is one young, enterprising indie artist who is establishing her brand in India and in the West alike. Having acquired fanfare by winning the Individual Artist Program Cultural Grant awarded by the City of Chicago in 2019 and 2020, besides having won the Best Asian Entertainer 2019 at the Chicago Music Awards, the Delhi-Chicago based songstress has arrived with her latest single, ‘Aagosh’. Accompanied by an animated music video, Subhi addresses love and longing amongst young couples who are staying away from each other and maintaining social distancing.
The song has stemmed from a very personal space for Subhi. Through the song she has collaborated with well-known composer Kanishk Seth, whose beats weave life into the verses penned by the singer herself.
Mixed and mastered by RAABSA Music Lab, the composition is replete with meldic use of keys and violins. The composition weighs between mellow and rousing in equal measure.
‘Aagosh’ is available on leading music platforms and is also streaming on Radio City Freedom.
