One of the wittiest actors in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar's hilarious responses to controversial questions are a genre in themselves. The actor has been making headlines for a few reasons, including the Housefull 5 trailer and his clash with Paresh Rawal after the latter exited Hera Pheri 3.

The Housefull 5 trailer was revealed on May 27, leaving the internet in a frenzy. Fans were delighted to see Akshay back with his impeccable comic timing and a spectacular cast joining him in the madness.

At the trailer launch, the actor was asked about how much he charged for Housefull 5. His response will leave you in splits as he hints at receiving a bug fat pay cheque.

A video from the trailer launch of the upcoming thriller comedy has been doing the rounds on the internet. A reporter asked the Kesari 2 actor how much he got paid for his role in the fifth installment of Housefull.

Akshay being Akshay, he handled the situation with swag and answered in his signature style, leaving everyone in splits.

He said, "Agar maine paise liye honge toh main tujhe kyun bataunga? Tu humara bhatija lagta hai? Maine paise liye, bhut acche khase liye. Film bani, bhut acche khaase budget mein bani. Bhut maza aaya. Aaj khushi ka din hai, tune raid daalna hai?"


Reports suggest Akshay is the highest-paid actor among the entire cast of Housefull 5. This could be because of the credibility he brings to the franchise and his equation with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.


Akshay Kumar on Paresh Rawal's Hera Pheri 3 controversy

Of course, the Hera Pheri 3 controversy was going to be a subject of discussion when either of the cast members is in talks with the media. This time, it was the Sarfira actor who was asked about his ongoing feud with his co-star.

For the uninitiated, Paresh Rawal exited the Priyadarshan comedy-drama after signing the contract and even shooting a few sequences. This created a huge uproar and even upset the filmmaker and the rest of the cast.

Akshay was asked about the same at the Housefull 5 trailer launch. The actor handled the situation gracefully and chose not to comment on the same, as the matter will be handled in the court.

He said, "I've worked with him for the last 30 years. 32 saal se unke saath kaam karte aaya hoon. We are very good friends. He is a great actor. I really admire him. I don't think this is a place where I am going to talk about it. Because, whatever has to happen mdash it is a very serious matter mdash it is a matter which is going to be handled by the court. I don't think I'm going to speak about it here."

As for Housefull 5, it will release on June 6 in cinemas near you.
