The upcoming film Tanvi The Great is already making waves, with its powerful trailer earning high praise from Bollywood titans Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor. Anupam Kher returns to the director's chair after 23 years with this inspiring story, which is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The film, starring debutant Shubhangi Dutt, promises a heartfelt narrative that champions the human spirit.

Stars Applaud Kher's Directorial Return

The industry's biggest names took to social media to share their excitement. A Tale of Unbreakable Spirit

Tanvi The Great introduces us to Tanvi Raina (Shubhangi Dutt), a 21-year-old neurodivergent woman. The film beautifully portrays her journey as she sets out to fulfill her late father's dream of saluting the Indian flag at Siachen. The narrative explores her unique perspective on life and her determination to overcome societal barriers to join the Indian Army. The story also delves into the complex relationship she shares with her grandfather, played by Kher himself.

Produced by Anupam Kher Studios and the NFDC, the film boasts a stellar team. The soul-stirring music is composed by Oscar-winner M.M. Keeravani, with lyrics by Kausar Munir. Keeravani revealed that the storyline "stole my heart" within minutes of hearing it. Kher shared that the film aims to "ignite the goodness in human beings." The cast includes talented actors like Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, and Pallavi Joshi. After a successful screening at the Cannes Market, Tanvi The Great is set to release in cinemas on July 18.
