Anupamaa Video Calls Tulsi Virani As Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Returns

Television's all-time favourite bahu, Tulsi Virani, aka Smriti Irani, is all set to make her comeback with the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The show premieres tonight on Star Plus and JioHotstar at 10:30 pm.

After 17 years, the actress-turned-politician has turned back to television and embraced her most loved character. Ahead of its premiere, the makers dropped an interesting collaboration with Anupamaa's Rupali Ganguly welcoming Irani back on TV.

Social media speculation suggested that the makers of Anupamaa were not pleased with Ekta Kapoor's show's return on Star Plus, as it might affect their TRP. Making a bold move, the two bahus got on a video call and left fans even more intrigued.

In the promo, Anupamaa video calls Tulsi and says, "Jai shri krishna, Tulsi ben. 3-4 dino se soch rahi thi ki aapko phone karu, woh kya hai na sabhi log andaaze pe andaaza laga rahe hai ki aap wapas aaengi ya wapas nahi aaengi, par aap toh aa gayi (I have been meaning to call you for the last 3-4 days because people have only been guessing if you will return or not, but you are back)!'

Anupamaa then welcomes Tulsi to the Star Plus family as the latter says they will be meeting every day. For the uninitiated, Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will stream at 10 pm and 10:30 pm, respectively.
