Amitabh Bachchan, a legend of Indian cinema, is known for his vocal and public support for his son, Abhishek Bachchan. His heartfelt praises for Abhishek's work often make headlines. However, this has led many fans to wonder why the same public admiration isn't extended to his equally accomplished wife, Jaya Bachchan, and daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The megastar has finally broken his silence on the matter, offering a glimpse into his personal philosophy.

The Question from Fans

The discussion began when Amitabh Bachchan shared photos of himself greeting fans outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa. He captioned the post with a direct and confident statement: 'Yes, I praise Abhishek. So?' This sparked a wave of comments, with one user echoing a long-held sentiment: 'Toh you should also praise your daughter, daughter-in-law, and wife the same way.' The query, though simple, pointed to a pattern that many of his followers had observed over the years.

Never one to shy away from engaging with his audience, Amitabh offered a thoughtful and clear explanation for his approach. In a direct reply to the user, he stated, 'Yes I shall praise them in my heart.. not publicly.. respect for the ladies.' This response reveals a more traditional and private way of expressing affection and respect for the women in his life, contrasting with the open encouragement he shows his son.

The actor also didn't hold back against other trolls. When one commenter suggested his fans were "Paid fans," the actor retorted, 'prove it! You are small mindedhellip why don't you pay and get your fans too.'
