During a recent interview, Jamie Lever, a popular internet sensation, discussed how several actors praised her mimicry skills. She shared a recent incident where she received a call from legendary jazz and indie-pop singer Usha Uthup early in the morning. Jamie recounted, 'Usha Uthup called me at 8 a.m., and I was fast asleep.
She said, 'Darling! I love you!' I was like, Who is screaming in my ears, and I said, 'Hello?' She said, 'Main hoon! Usha! Usha Uthup! I watch all your videos please mimic me. Why aren't you mimicking me?' And that's how I started mimicking her. What more could I ask?'

Jamie is popular for her uncanny impressions of artists such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Asha Bhosale, and Farah Khan. In addition to the Darling singer, Jamie shared that she has been approached and complimented for her mimicry by multiple celebrities. Her comic acting has generally received positive feedback from her colleagues.For example, Jamie recounted an incident where her co-star Saif Ali Khan from 'Bhoot Police' told her that his wife Kareena enjoys watching her videos. This left Jamie feeling awestruck.
Additionally, Jamie mentioned that Rekha approached her to inquire about her video-making process. Jamie also shared an incident where renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar complimented her linguistic skills while mimicking Kangana Ranaut.
She feels fortunate to have had such experiences. She said, 'Honestly, I have been so lucky. People have always come forward and complimented me. This is all in good fun. People are enjoying it, so it's worth it.'
Jamie also narrated an incident related to the filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan. Regarding Farah, Jamie mentioned, 'She is always complimenting and commenting on my videos. She called me one morning and said, 'Jamie, what have you done? My husband is sending your videos to my kids, saying, 'Mumma talks like this.' I love her spirit she's such a sport.'
