Shah Rukh Khan Craze Continues as Jawan Becomes the Most Watched film on OTT

Ever since its release in September, Jawan has caught the eyeballs of everyone, becoming a box-office sensation that broke all records. In a record-breaking run, Shah Rukh Khan enthralled audiences with his acting in the film. It was directed by Atlee, who painted Khan on his over-the-top canvas, which aroused everyone to the core.

After its theatrical run, the film has now maintained its streak of making new records. Jawan has become the most-watched film on OTT after its release on Netflix two weeks ago. An extended version of the film was chosen for a Netflix release, adding to the excitement.

Shah Rukh Khan spoke of the film's continuing success on Netflix. He said, "I am thrilled to share that Jawan is the most-watched film in India on Netflix. Releasing the extended version was our way of expressing gratitude to our fans for extending their unwavering love and support to the film. The overwhelming response we've received from Netflix audiences only reaffirms the brilliance of Indian cinema."

He further added, "Jawan is not just a film it's a celebration of storytelling, passion, and the vibrant spirit of our cinema, and I couldn't be prouder of its success on Netflix."

Jawan was an action-thriller that starred Shah Rukh Khan as a vigilante who brings people justice. Khan played a double role in the film, making multiple entries and just redefining 'mass' with his endearing screen presence. It also starred Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles. Along with that, Deepika Padukone made a guest appearance that gauged everyone's interest.

Director Atlee spoke about how he was mesmerized by Deepika when she came on the set. He said, "On the first day of the set, Deepika walked in a white saree and was in no make-up, and I have never seen any heroine ever come on the set like this. Through this interview, once again, I would like to thank Deepika mam for saying yes to the film."

Jawan did a total box-office business of over 400 crore in the foreign market and a whopping 1150 crore in worldwide collections.
