Originally from Mangalore who is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Architecture in the Garden City, Frizzell D'Souza's journey into making her own music began when she first rendered a cover of Prateek Kuhad's celebrated single, 'Cold/Mess' as part of 'The October Series'. A shoutout by the artist himself saw her social rankings shoot overnight and it only encouraged her to put out her own music.

Further encouragement from Ehsaan Noorani and Raghav Meattle over their Instagram lives during the lockdown, only furthered her resolve to roll out her debut single, 'New'. A one-sided perspective about looking back at the happier times in a relationship, the song evokes hope and belief that an effort and understanding would be required to fix the imbalance in the equation.

Written, composed and recorded by Frizzell in her bedroom and produced by Akshay Baliga, the song, a treat for countryside blues enthusiasts, is now available on major music platforms and is streaming on Radio City Freedom
