Palakkad-based singer/songwriter Sridev Ramesh might just have cracked the code for many young millennials trying to gain perspective and be objective towards their everyday routine, given the anxiety and uncertainty caused by the lockdown.

Succeeding his earlier release, 'Musafir X Wanderer' which he released alongside Jaipur band Yugm, Sridev has now hit the tube with his latest release, 'Lemonade from Apples'.

The singer/songwriter puts it out upfront and clears the air through the song. He evidently expresses how we often blame everything else and everyone else for the outcome of our actions and deeds, except ourselves. The artist makes a simple point. He asserts, 'Listen up buddy. You want lemonade, go get lemons! You can't try making lemonade with apples and be like they were bad apples.'

A non-conformist, Sridev loves experimenting with his genres while performing. His influences range from John Mayer, Rogue Valley, Novo Amor, Tom Misch, Lucky Ali and FKJ.

'Lemonade from Apples' is now playing on Radio City Freedom.
