The most popular Indian superhero show, Shaktimaan shall makes it way to the theatres soon.
The one-minute teaser shows Shaktimaan coming to the rescue as darkness and evil prevails over humanity. The teaser mainly consists of visual effects and is a treat for the eyes. The video shows a glimpse of the earth and then a busy street. It's followed by the words, 'As darkness and evil prevail over humanity, it's time for him to return'. And soon, the Shaktimaan symbol comes up and we get a glimpse of our superhero.
While the face of Shaktimaan is not revealed, makers do give a sneak peek of the 'most popular and loved superhero'. Sony Pictures posted the teaser of the upcoming film and the video has been trending ever-since. There is currently no word on who will star or the release date of the film.
The original TV series 'Shaktimaan' series aired back in 1997 and ran over the course of eight years. ProducerMukesh Khannaplayed the role of Shaktimaan and hisalter ego"Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastriji", a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz. Shaktimaan was depicted as a human who has attained superhuman powers throughmeditationand five elements of nature.
