Sobhita Dhulipala is one of the sexiest, most talented actresses Bollywood has recently seen. After her mind-boggling performance in Amazon Prime Video`s Made In Heaven, there was no looking back for her. Her upcoming web series The Night Manager will portray her in a never-seen-before avatar. However, it was not the challenging character that made Sobhita doubt herself. It was the leading men of the series Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur who had the actress go weak on her knees.
The Night Manager stars Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead is a remake of the popular original Hollywood thriller-drama. On the sets of The Night Manager, the two leading men gave an existential crisis to Sobhita Dhulipala, and probably for the right reasons.
During the trailer launch, the actress revealed how her love for food made her feel guilty after she saw the two actors highly invested in their fitness and following their diet plans sincerely.
She said, “Fitness hasn’t featured in my life as a priority and I do take my wonderful genetics for granted – which have supported me in looking good even though I eat crap all the time. I must clarify that I’m not proud of it! But I had a crisis of sorts on the sets of ‘The Night Manager’ when I saw the two boys diet, workout so hard, and take care of their bodies with extreme efforts.”
She further added, “My goodness! And there I was, hogging samosas and biscuits between every shot because I was like ‘arey har tarah ka body hota hai, thoda imperfect hai toh kya ho gaya’ (people have different types of body, so what if it’s a bit imperfect).”
“The fact of the matter is that it was a reality check and a learning point for me. Shoot khatam ho gaya, wrap ho gaya and I have taken my first gym membership! Pakka ab continue karungi (Now that the shoot is over, I have taken a gym membership and I promise to continue practicing healthy living)," stated Sobhita Dhulipala.
The Night Manager will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on February 17.
