Ranveer asked the actor, “Why did you choose to marry Kajol, your wife?” The Shaitaan actor replied, “I really don’t know. I mean, we met, we got along very well, and we started seeing each other without even proposing. Then, eventually, it was taken for granted that we would get married.”

“The thought process is also that our thoughts are similar, and whatever we say, our morals, and things like this seem to gel together. So it just went in a flow,” Ajay further added.
While promoting the same, she opened up about her character and how she drew references from her personal life, especially when it came to marrying at the peak of her career.
“Actually, a lot of instances in my life made me make tough decisions. The fact that I got married at the peak of my career, the fact that I actually joined the film industry, was a game changer for me because I didn’t know whether I wanted to join the film industry or not,” she said.
