Ayushmann Khurrana`s Father And Famous Astrologer Acharya P Khurrana Passes Away In Mohali
Popular astrologer and father of actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana passes away. On Friday, Acharya P Khurrana breathed his last in Mohali at 10:30 AM after suffering from a prolonged incurable illness. The family shared an official statement announcing the unfortunate news.
It read, "It’s with our deep sadness to inform that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana passed away this morning at 10:30 am in Mohali, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment. We are indebted for all your prayers and support during this time of personal loss."
Acharya P Khurrana was popularly known for his contribution to astrology in North India. Hailing from Chandigarh, the astrologer has also written several books in the same field.
It was the astrologer who suggested Ayushmann add a double `n` in his name and add an extra `r` in his last name. In an old interview, the Andhadhun actor was asked if he believes in astrology as much as his father does. While he denied his belief in the subject, Ayushmann called P Khurrana his life coach and mentor.
“I don’t believe in astrology, but my father has been my life coach and mentor. He always used to tell me ‘beta public ki nabz pakdo’ (Catch people’s pulse) and I just did that,” the actor shared.
Radio City extends heartfelt condolences to the Khurrana family. Rest in peace, sir.
