British Pop Star Ed Sheeran Rides on a Bike With Arijit Singh in West Bengal

Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran took a break from his busy tour schedule to experience the charm of rural India. On Monday night, the British singer was spotted enjoying a scooty ride with Indian music icon Arijit Singh in Jiaganj, Murshidabad district, West Bengal. Sheeran, who is currently in India as part of his Mathematics Tour, rode pillion as Arijit navigated the streets of his hometown.
Sheeran and Arijit’s friendship blossomed last year when Arijit was in London for a concert. They jammed together, performing Sheeran’s 2017 hit Perfect alongside a medley of Arijit’s chartbusters like Hawayein and Tera Hone Laga Hoon. This shared musical connection has now led to a memorable rendezvous in India.

Adding to the excitement, Sheeran surprised fans by inviting Indian playback singer Shilpa Rao to perform with him at the Hyderabad concert. The duo sang Chuttamalle from the movie Devara, leaving the audience spellbound. Prior to this, Sheeran performed in Chennai, where he was joined by legendary Indian composer A.R. Rahman for a special rendition of the classic Urvasi song.
Sheeran’s Indian tour continues with performances in Shillong on February 12 and Delhi NCR on February 15.
