Kanagna Ranaut Strikes At Celebs Performing At Ambani Bash, Here`s Why
The internet is still not over the larger-than-life and extraordinary Ambani pre-wedding bash. The event was beyond grand, so much so that Instagram and Facebook were jammed with Jamnagar feeds. Foreign dignitaries, Hollywood sensations, the who`s who of Bollywood, and Indian industrialists gathered under one roof to celebrate the union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
While many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Janhvi Janhvi Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Manish Malhotra, among others, performed at the Ambani pre-wedding bash, several other actors didn`t make it to the list. One of them was Kangana Ranaut.
Apart from her incredible performances, Kangana Ranaut is known for her controversial and bold statements. And the actress strikes back again as she takes a dig at the celebrities who put on shows at the three-day grand event.
Kangana mentioned she has turned down several such offers to perform as a hired entertainer at private events. She went on to compare herself with the legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar.
This comes amidst an article that said Lata Mangeshkar had once turned down millions of dollars to sing at a wedding. This was a statement made by the singer`s sister, Asha Bhosle, on a reality television show.

Taking it to her Instagram stories, the actress shared the article and wrote, “I have been through worse financial setbacks, but Lata ji and I are only two people who have massive hit songs (Fashion ka Jalwa, Ghani Baawli Ho Gayi, London Thumkda, Sadi Galli, Vijay Bhawa, etc.) to our credit.”
She also went on to write about how it takes dignity to say no to such opportunities, no matter how tempting they sound.
“But no matter how many temptations I got, I never danced at the weddings. Many super hit songs were also offered to me, and soon I avoided award shows as well. It takes strong character and dignity to say no to fame and money; in the world of short cuts, the young generation needs to understand that the only wealth one can acquire is the wealth of integrity,” Kangana Ranaut concluded.
However, the Fashion actress did not clarify why she didn`t feel like dancing at the recent Ambani pre-wedding bash.
