Nushrratt Bharuccha Safely Returns To Mumbai After Being Stuck In Israel Amid War With Hamas

Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has finally arrived in Mumbai after being stuck in a rather disturbing and agonizing situation in Israel amidst its conflict with Hamas. For the uninitiated, Israel is currently at war with the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Earlier, it was reported that Nushrratt`s team had lost contact with her. Now, the video of the actor`s safe return to India is doing the rounds on the internet.
Known for films like Dream Girl and Chhori, Nushrratt Bharuccha traveled to Israel to attend the Haif International Film Festival, where her movie Akelli was showcased. Akelli, a story about an Indian being stranded in Israel amidst the war, was shot in the same country.
On Saturday, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actress was spotted at the Mumbai airport following her return from Israel. The country is currently engaged in a conflict with Palestinian militant group Hamas after the latter attacked the country on Saturday.

Nushhratt was seen wearing casual pink attire as she carried her luggage. She was surrounded by several media personnel who tried to get some bytes from her. She looked rather distressed and disturbed as she proceeded towards the arrival gate.
A spokesperson from her team spoke to India Today and issued a statement saying, "Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 p.m. earlier today, when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we have not been able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed.”
Later, sources close to the development informed Nushrratt had safely reached the Israel airport and was scheduled to board a flight to India soon. Another member of her team shared an update with ANI.
The spokesperson said, “We have finally managed to get in touch with actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. She is safe and on her way to India.”
As the terrifying conflict goes on between Israel and the Hamas group, Radio City prays for all the lives lost.
