One of the most anticipated movies, The Archies, has kept every Gen Z movie buff on their toes. Ever since the poster for the movie was released, it has taken the internet by storm. Now, the makers have unveiled The Archies trailer, and it won`t fail to captivate you.
The film marks the debut of many star kids. Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan`s daughter Suhana Khan, Janhvi Kapoor`s sister Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan`s grandson Agastya Nanda will make their first ever glorious appearance in The Archies.
While the cast of The Archies also brings another group of young talent, it would be interesting to see who brings more to the table: the newcomers or the nepotistic kids. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film will see a digital release on Netflix.

Every 90s grew up reading The Archies, which was filled with love, heartbreaks, friendship, college drama, and everything in between. The upcoming Bollywood movie tries to encapsulate the same emotions.
The trailer shows how the teenagers, despite the drama and complicated love triangles, come together to save the future of Riverdale as developers threaten to destroy the scenic park.
The Archies will see Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper, and Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge. The Netflix release also features Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Dot as Ethel Muggs, and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.
The teaser for The Archies dropped at the Netflix global fan event TUDUM in Sao Paolo, Brazil, earlier this year. In an interview with Mid-Day, Zoya Akhtar opened up about how the film has been a target of reverse racism.
She said, "Why do you think that? They`re all Indian. This is a kind of reverse racism. Are you saying fair Indians are not Indians? How do we define what an Indian looks like? It could be Hrithik Roshan; it could be Mr. Rajinikanth; it could be Diljit Dosanjh; it could be Mary Kom. That`s the beauty of India. There are a lot of Indians that are light-skinned."
Set in the 1960s, the teenage drama is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Tiger Baby Films. The Archies is all set to release on December 7 on Netflix.
