Srikanth Bolla was born in 1992 in a small village in Hyderabad. He came from a family of farmers and faced discrimination due to his visual impairment. Despite being an excellent student, Srikanth was denied the right to education in many places. However, he overcame these obstacles and completed his formal education. He went on to become the first visually impaired international student at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.
After completing his education, Srikanth returned to India and started his own venture, Bollant Industries. The company employs and empowers unskilled and differently-abled people to produce eco-friendly, areca-based products. This noble venture has helped many disabled people find steady income and financial stability.
In a previous interview, Bade Miya Chote Miya actress Alaya F shared her experience working with Rajkumar Rao in Srikanth. She stated, “The shoot is going really well. I shot for only a few days in December and resumed it in January this year. Whatever I’ve shot for so far has been a wonderful experience. The team is lovely. Raj is just incredible.”
