In the second instalment of the film, Riteish plays the role of a dominating politician, Dadabhai, who becomes the target of Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), an honest and fierce income tax officer. The former's character and performance were lauded by viewers and critics alike.

5. Kakuda - Zee5

This horror comedy revolves around a ghost who curses a married couple, Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem, for closing doors on him. The dwarf ghost punishes them by causing swelling on the back of a family member, giving them 13 days to live.

Riteish Deshmukh plays the role of a ghost hunter in Kakuda.
