One of the most awaited web series, Aashram 3 Part 2, releases today on Amazon MX Player. The show, headlined by Bobby Deol, has seen two successful seasons, and the third installment promises to intensify the twists and turns that will keep the audience hooked.
For the uninitiated, Aashram follows the story of a duplicitous godman who uses religion to amass followers who would do anything for him. Bobby Deol aces the role of Baba Nirala, who uses his influence and good deeds to cover his criminal activities such as rape, murder, drugs, and vote bank politics.
As Aashram 3 Part 2 releases today, director Prakash Jha reveals the real reason for casting the actor and even praises his exceptional performance throughout all the seasons.

The director has time and again highlighted how Bobby brought depth and conviction to Baba Nirala`s character, making him one of the most talked-about characters in the history of the Indian web series.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Jha said, “Bobby worked hard. He can play this role, and that is why I thought to cast him. I needed a face that appealed to everyone, and hats off to him; he worked hard on his character, on the language, and on the understanding of the role."
The show is set to return with the second part of its third season. The trailer of Aashram 3 Part 2 was released on Wednesday. It intrigues the audience with cracks forming in Baba Nirala`s empire, Pammi`s fearless return, and Bhopa Swami`s thirst for power.

Reflecting on one of the most unique roles and characters, the Animal actor said, “Baba Nirala believes he’s invincible and his power is unmatched—but the thing about it is—it’s fickle. This season he’s at his most vulnerable, yet that’s exactly what makes him even more dangerous."

Apart from Bobby Deol, Aashram 3 also stars Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumaar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Anupriya Goenka, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Esha Gupta in prominent roles.
