On March 15, 2024, Alia Bhatt, the young and talented actress of `Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani`, celebrates her 31st birthday. She made her debut in 2012 with Karan Johar`s `Student of the Year` and has since delivered memorable performances in films such as Highway, Raazi, and Dear Zindagi.
In 2022, she won the National Award for Best Actress for her outstanding performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Gangubai Kathiawadi`.
To celebrate Alia Bhatt`s birthday, let`s take a look back at when she appeared on the reality TV show `Jeena Isi Ka Kaam Hai` at the age of eight, alongside her parents and sister.
The young Alia looked very cheerful and confident on the show. When asked what she wanted to become after growing up, Alia replied promptly, “Actress banungi.” (I’ll be an actress.)

Shaheen Bhatt, her elder sister, also appeared on the show with her. However, when asked whether she wanted to be an actress or enter the film industry, Shaheen straight up refused the idea.
Instead, she shared her aspiration to become a writer. Today, she is a successful author and a mental health activist.
Later this year, Alia will also appear in `Jigra`, a Vasan Bala directorial starring Vedang Raina and Aditya Nanda alongside her. She is also producing this film. The Highway actress shared that the movie tells a story of courage, passion, and determination.

She stated, “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production, Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion, and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, and enduringly timeless, and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive.” Jigra is slated to release this year on September 27, 2024.
