Saba Azad and Imaad Khan reveal their equation after breakup
Saba Azad has been hitting the Bollywood headlines ever since she started dating Hrithik Roshan. While the two are in a steady and serious relationship, her ex-boyfriend, Imaad Shah, is equally a part of her life even after their breakup.
Saba and Imaad, both actors, dated for several years before calling it quits in 2020. However, they continue to share a closer bond and unconditional friendship even after parting ways.
In a recent interview, the two actors opened up about how their equation got stronger after breaking up, with Saba also reflecting on her relationship with Hrithik Roshan.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Imaad shared, “When we split, many said we shouldn`t meet for a while. But it felt more like an evolution than an ending. By the time it was officially over, there wasn`t much heartache.”
For the Songs of Paradise actress, her feelings simply changed form. She explained, “Unless someone has treated you badly, how do you stop loving them? It transforms into something else — a beautiful, platonic friendship where you always have each other`s back.”

Calling her ex-boyfriend "family", she said, "We were like, to hell with that, it`s our family. There was no way I was going to let Imz out of my life. We were very clear that we`d be friends forever — grow old together as friends.”
Imaad Shah confessed, “We often joke that our relationship got better after we broke up,” to which Saba added, “Much better. We became easier on each other, less judgemental, and way better friends.”

The actress reflected on how misconceived people are when one is dating a celebrity. In her case, she became a household name as soon as news of her dating the War 2 actor spread like wildfire.
She shared, “I have a lot of sense of normalcy around me, even within my relationship,” adding, “It’s an assumption that we make that people who are in the public eye don’t lead normal lives. Everyone is just going about their life, trying to get through from one day to another.”
For the unversed, Saba Azad and Hrithik Roshan made their relationship public in 2022 at Karan Johar`s 50th birthday party. She is even close to his two kids from his marriage with Sussane Khan.
