Rapper Akshay The One’s Ramayana mirrors the contemporary evils of our times

Ludhiana-based 21-year old rapper Akshay The One is all set to release his brand new single, ‘Ramayana’ alongside a captivating music video which features the backdrop of the historic epic against a video game.

Mirroring the evils of contemporary society that dictate lives today, the rapper blurs the line between black and white through the song. The song further highlights the prevalent hypocrisy in every aspect of the society. A winner of the Indian reality TV show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ in 2018, the young rapper manages to resonate with his audience through his unique concepts and impactful verses.

The song is being released through Big Indie Bang, a platform housed under Big Bang Music, which showcases young emerging talents from across the country. Speaking further on the development, musician and singer/songwriter Raghav Meattle, Head of Big Indie Bang and New Initiatives adds, “It’s all about artistic expression and when Akshay played us this song, we knew it came straight from the heart and had to support it.”

The song will premiere on Radio City Freedom from May 21st and you can check out the music video on Big Bang Music’s YouTube channel.
