Rajinikanth To Team Up With Sajid Nadiadwala, Producer Says Its A True Honour For Him

With great content dominating the world of entertainment, the language lines are slowly blurring. A classic example of this could be how Indian cinema is coming together as one. While Hindi viewers enjoy watching movies in other languages, South Indian superstars are playing a crucial role in blockbuster Bollywood movies.

One such up-and-coming collaboration has already taken the internet by storm. Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala and South superstar Rajinikanth are uniting for an interesting project.

Sajid Nadiadwala to collaborate with Rajinikanth

The producer, who is the founder of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared the exciting news. He called it an honor to be working with the Lal Salaam actor.

"It's a true honor to collaborate with the legendary RajinikanthSir! Anticipation mounts as we prepare to embark on this unforgettable journey together." Sajid wrote.

Nadiadwala shared a picture of him posing with Rajinikanth in an office-like setup. Sajid wore a black t-shirt paired with a vibrant scarf. The South Indian actor was seen wearing a white shirt as the two smiled for the camera.

This marks the first collaboration between the filmmaker and the actor. However, other details like the storyline, name of the film, other cast, and more have been kept under wraps.

Film critic Taran Adarsh also took to Instagram and shared the news. His caption read, ''BIGGG NEWS... RAJINIKANTH: SAJID NADIADWALA TO COLLABORATE FOR A NEW MOVIE Producer #SajidNadiadwala is collaborating with #Rajinikanth for the first time on a film project. More details soon."


On the work front

Rajinikanth was last seen with his daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth-directorial, Lal Salaam. He had a cameo role in the movie. The sports drama was headlined by Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth.

However, despite starring the superstar, the film failed to impress the audience. It was released on February 9 and tanked at the box office.

As for Sajid Nadiadwala, he is considered to be one of the biggest producers in Bollywood. His last project was Nitish Tiwari's Bawal, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in titular roles.

His upcoming projects include Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan, and Housefull 5, which will bring together Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. It will be released in 2025.
